For a quiet midweek stay, a smaller home with a lower guest limit usually feels calmer. Holiday Homes Maridu’s most intimate options are Wellness (2 guests, ideal for couples) and the four-guest homes Ayla, Tiny Cube and Forest Cube. All four sit in the Netherlands at Resort De Hooge Veluwe (Koningsweg 14, Arnhem/Schaarsbergen), so they share the same wooded setting near the Hoge Veluwe National Park. If you want a self-contained escape in the Czech Giant Mountains instead, Celine, Elizabeth and Marianne each sleep up to 8 on large private grounds. The best fit comes down to your group size and the features you care about, which are listed concretely below.
Smaller homes with lower guest limits
These are the homes with the lowest guest limits, which often means a quieter setting:
- Wellness — 2 guests, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Stylish wellness chalet (built 2021) at Resort De Hooge Veluwe, Schaarsbergen entrance. Private sauna and hot tub, own garden, fire pit, and access to the resort pool. Single-storey. Ideal for couples.
- Ayla — 4 guests, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Modern detached chalet in the woods at Resort De Hooge Veluwe. Private hot tub, garden, and resort pool access (no sauna, no BBQ, no fire pit).
- Tiny Cube — 4 guests, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Tiny house at Resort De Hooge Veluwe with an indoor pellet stove, a shared wood-fired hot tub, a fire pit, garden, and resort pool access. Sleeping loft with skylight.
- Forest Cube — 4 guests, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Tiny house at Resort De Hooge Veluwe, the same concept as Tiny Cube: indoor pellet stove, shared wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, garden, and resort pool access.
For more space, Family Wellness (5 guests, Hattemerbroek near Zwolle) offers a single-storey, step-free chalet with private sauna, hot tub and pool, plus contactless self check-in. Family L-Cube (6 guests, Resort De Hooge Veluwe) adds a large private garden, sauna and resort pool. The three Czech homes — Celine, Elizabeth and Marianne — each sleep up to 8 on spacious private grounds in the Giant Mountains.
