Forest Cube Maridu
A place surrounded by nature, right at the edge of the Veluwe, where you slow down and reconnect with what matters.
Forest Cube Maridu is a cozy home for up to 4 guests, designed to blend the indoors with the outdoors. Large windows bring the forest inside, while the warm interior creates a sense of comfort and calm in every season.
The living area with pellet stove and Chromecast TV forms the heart of the home, complemented by a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. With a downstairs bedroom and a cosy sleeping loft with a skylight, there is comfortable space for up to four guests.
Outside, everything naturally slows down. After a walk or bike ride through the Veluwe, unwind in the shared wood-fired hot tub. Use is included in your stay, and there is no need to reserve it or notify your host in advance. Forest Cube does not have a separate private hot tub.
Forest Cube Maridu is not just a place to stay, but a place to simply be.

The chalet is ideally located just opposite the entrance to the Hoge Veluwe National Park — the crown jewel of Dutch nature reserves. Step outside and immediately enjoy hiking, cycling, or exploring the nearby Kröller-Müller Museum, home to one of the world’s largest Van Gogh collections.
Within the resort, guests staying at Forest Cube can use a range of shared facilities:
- Indoor swimming pool, generally open from 09:00 to 20:00
- Outdoor swimming pool, open during the summer season and usually from 09:00 to 20:00
- Fitness facilities
- A restaurant, mini market, and bike/e-chopper rental
- Various playgrounds, sports fields, and a laundromat
- Easy access to public transport and nearby Arnhem for shopping, dining, and cultural outings
Swimming-pool opening times may vary. Please note that there is no longer a communal sauna at the resort.

Guests staying at Forest Cube can use the shared facilities at Resort De Hooge Veluwe. The indoor swimming pool is generally open from 09:00 to 20:00. During the summer season, the outdoor swimming pool is usually open during the same hours. Opening times may vary.
