Every one of the nine Holiday Homes Maridu homes has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can prepare your own meals throughout your stay, whether you book in the Netherlands or the Czech Republic. What differs per home is the extra kitchen equipment: a dishwasher is available at six homes (Ayla, Celine, Marianne, Family L-Cube, Family Wellness and Wellness) and every home except Ayla has a coffee maker. A fully equipped kitchen in every home
All nine homes are self-catering and come with a fully equipped kitchen as standard, from the smallest home (Wellness, for 2 guests) up to the largest (Celine, Elizabeth and Marianne, for 8 guests):
- Resort De Hooge Veluwe (Arnhem / Schaarsbergen): Ayla, Family L-Cube, Tiny Cube, Wellness and Forest Cube.
- Hattemerbroek, near Zwolle: Family Wellness.
- Czech Republic (Giant Mountains): Celine, Elizabeth and Marianne.
Elizabeth even has a separate suite on the upper floor with its own seating area, kitchen and bed. The kitchens are equipped for everyday cooking, but the precise appliances and cookware are not described the same way for every home, so use the points below to see what is confirmed and what to check on the listing.
Which homes have a dishwasher
A dishwasher is available at six of the nine homes:
- Available: Ayla, Family L-Cube and Wellness (Resort De Hooge Veluwe, Arnhem / Schaarsbergen); Family Wellness (Hattemerbroek, near Zwolle); Celine and Marianne (Czech Republic).
- Not available: Elizabeth (Czech Republic); Tiny Cube and Forest Cube (Resort De Hooge Veluwe). In these homes you wash up by hand.
Coffee, laundry and other conveniences
Every home except Ayla has a coffee maker in the kitchen. A washing machine is available at Celine, Elizabeth, Marianne, Family L-Cube, Family Wellness and Wellness, which is handy for longer stays, and a dryer is provided at Marianne, Family L-Cube, Family Wellness and Wellness. Bed linen is included in all nine homes.
Cooking for larger groups
Guest capacity ranges from 2 up to 8 across the homes, so the kitchen you get is sized to the group the home sleeps. The three largest homes, Celine, Elizabeth and Marianne in the Czech Republic, each sleep up to 8 guests and all have a coffee maker and a washing machine; Celine and Marianne add a dishwasher. In the Netherlands, Family L-Cube sleeps up to 6 and has both a dishwasher and a washing machine, and Family Wellness sleeps up to 5 with the same combination. Match the home’s guest limit to your group size before you book.
